Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine which deals with the diseases and surgery of the visual pathways, including the eye, brain, and areas surrounding the eye, such as the lacrimal system and eyelids. Ophthalmologists perform surgeries and/or prescribe ocular, oral and systemic medications. They manage diseases and conditions of the eye, the visual pathway, and structures surrounding the eye.

The state of the art Constellation Phaco emulsification/Vitrectomy system is now in use for cataract and other surgeries.

Diagnostic/OPD Procedures available with us:
  • Sight testing and Prescription of glasses using the Auto refractometer as well as manually.
  • Screening of Intra Ocular Pressures, to rule out GLAUCOMA and recording them, using the Aplannation / non-contact tonometers.
  • Indirect Ophthalmoscopy, done to study the central and peripheral retina.
  • Slit lamp biomicroscope examination.
  • Gonioscopy with 3 mirror and 4 mirror lenses to rule out Narrow angle glaucoma.
  • Retinal and Macular examination with 90 dioptre lens.
